About Us

The Halifax International Wine Fest is a consumer festival focused on delivering high-quality educational and entertaining wine experiences for consumers and trade alike.
The foundation of the festival are the Tasting Sessions, which will be held November 30 2024, where the public can delight in sampling from the approximately 250 wines, from near and far, on offer at the event. This year, The Halifax International Wine Fest is also supporting educational wine and dining events leading up to the Tasting Sessions.
At the Tasting Sessions, a virtual wine store will allow guests to buy most of the wines on offer with the convenience of home delivery. Buying wine for the cellar and holiday entertaining has never been so easy.
The festival will also raise funds to support its charity partners, Feed Nova Scotia and the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia.

The festival is a partnership between Bruce Mansour (Make It Happen, Seaport Beer Festival, Irish Craft Beer Fest, Mark DeWolf (Association de la Sommellerie Internationale, Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers, Saltwire, DeWolf Food & Wine Experiences) and Harvest Wine, Beer & Spirits. The duo created the event, in partnership with the online retailer, to bring back a large-scale consumer wine show to Halifax, support downtown business and most importantly their charity partners. Harvest will manage the event's wine sales.
